Living Hope through the Resurrection of Christ (1 Peter: 3-4)

What does Christianity have that no other religion does?

Pastor Tim Carroll has one answer. Preaching from 1 Peter 1:3-4 on Easter Sunday, Pastor Tim shows that Peter begins not with argument but with doxology — praise rooted in the reality of what God has actually done in history. The reason for that praise is this: through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, God has caused us to be born again — rescuing us from the spiritual blindness and brokenness we were born into through our own rebellion.

This new birth is only possible because of God’s great mercy, freely given to those who deserved none of it. And it comes with an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading — a living hope that, unlike every other hope in this world, will never die because Jesus himself is alive.
